Britain's addiction to the internet is only getting worse

How addicted are *YOU* to the Internet?
British people will spend on average ten hours a day consuming media in 2015 -- 20 percent more time than the rest of the world. The country's fast-growing appetite for media is fuelled largely by the internet, which is expected to suck up 15 minutes more per day in 2015 than it did in 2014. And this trend is only set to increase; by 2017 another 35 minutes per day will have been added. The figures come froma report put together by ZenithOptimedia, which details the changing patterns of media consumption from 65 different countries. When the data is looked at in bulk, it suggests that people will spend more than eight hours a day on average this year, up 1.4 percent from 2014. The increase will be driven by internet use, which is set to grow by nearly 12 percent.
